Census is conducted after every ten years. The latest and 14th Census Survey was carried out in 2001. The population of the District Faridabad is reported as 13,64,123 as compared to 8,59,442 during 1991 census indicating a growth of 58.72% in last decade.

Sex Ratio is the ratio of female over per thousand male. The sex ratio increases from 815 to 826, resulting that there is a social change in our society. Sex ratio in rural area increased from 846 to 857 while in urban area it increased from 804 to 817.
