Haryana Women Development Corporation
Objectives:
-
To improve the economic, social
and educational condition of women.
-
To provide loans through banks
for self-employment to women under different schemes.
Loan Schemes:
- The corporation arranges for
loans through banks to those women whose annual income is upto Rs.5000/- under
different schemes. The loan limit is Rs.75000/-.
Margin money of 25% of total loan amount is provided by the corporation at a
very nominal interest rate of 6% p.a. Along with the total loan a subsidy of
10% of total loan with maximum limit of Rs.5000/- is also provided by this
Nigam.
- The Nigam arranges for loans
through banks to those women whose annual income is in the range of Rs.15000/-
to Rs.50,000/-.
Margin money of 25% of the total loan is provided at a nominal interest rate
of 6% p.a. by the Nigam.
- Loan upto Rs.3 lakhs is also
arranged for Mahila Mandal, Mahila Samiti or registered through banks. In this
category a margin money of 25% of total loan is provided by the Nigam at an
interest rate of 6% p.a. and a subsidy of 25% of total loan upto a limit of
Rs.10,000/- is provided by the corporation.
- A revolving fund of
Rs.10,000/- is also provided by the corporation directly to the group of women
(such as Mahila Samiti, Mahila Mandal to promote their work at an interest
rate of 4% p.a.)
Qualification Conditions
- These schemes are casteless
i'e. available to women of any caste.
- The applicant must be
permanent resident of district Faridabad.
- Age of applicant should be
between 18 yrs. to 50 yrs.
- The schemes are opened to
rural as well as urban areas.
- Loan application is available
at a fee of Re 1/- from the office.
- Sarpanch and Municipal
officer of the city are capable of issuing the identity card in the loan
application form.
- Two attested copies of the
photo and ration card are to be enclosed with the application form.
Training Schemes
The corporation runs different types of training courses with the help
of aid received from the Government.
- The corporation runs Computer
training course for which the eligibility and conditions are as follows:
- Fees of only Rs.200/-p.m.
- Duration 3 months to 2
years.
