Financial assistance of
Rs.5000/- for construction of house is given to those SC/ST, OBC who do not
have house or has a Kachha House or there house is not viable to live in and
has a plot of 50 sq.yard. Those who have a family income of less than Rs.
11,000/- p.a.

Colony Plan |
Those villages where 25% of
families are SC/ST are given assistance upto Rs.50,000/- for getting drains
and streets pucca in SC/ST basti, so that environment in their colonies can
be improved. Responsibility of the maintenance of this system lies with the
Village Panchayat.

Assistance to Panchayat
for Development Work |
The Panchayat who does the work
such as elimination of untouchability, construction of streets, admission of
girl students, etc. for the welfare of SC/ST are given Rs.5000/- as
incentive.

Hostel for SC
Boys/Girls |
State Government
Departments/Universities/NGO's are given assistance for the extension of
Hostel for SC students studying at middle, secondary, college and university
level. State Government Department are given financial assistance for
construction of new hostels also. Under this scheme minimum of assistance is
Rs.14620/- per residential student. If with room other facilities like
Dining Hall, Kitchen, Sanitary Block, etc. are also made available then this
assistance will be Rs. 20,220/-. The strength of hostel should not be more
than 100. Institutions are given 90% grant for construction of hostel
building.

Encouragement for Inter
caste marriages |
If any SC Boys marries with non
SC girl or vice versa, then they are given an assistance of Rs.5000/-.

Financial help to the
sufferers of atrocities on schedule Castes |
In case of death of the
scheduled caste sufferer or Permanently/Temporarily Handicapped, injured,
rapid, damage and loss to movable and immovable property etc. of such people
are given a grant in the range of Rs.625/- to Rs.25000/- .

Legal Assistance |
Legal financial assistance is
given to SC, OBC members for their civil/criminal cases filed by private
persons against them.

Financial Assistance |
Financial Assistance is given
to SC,OBC widows, helpless women for the marriage of their daughter. Under
this scheme widow is given assistance of Rs.10,000/- for the marriage of her
daughter. A widow can get grant for her two daughters. The annual income of
the applicant should not be more than Rs.11,000/- per annum. The age of the
girl should be 18 years and boy should be 21 years old.

Tailoring Training to
SC Widows/Helpless women/Poor Girls. |
Presently five welfare centers
are being run in the district. In these welfare centers one year tailoring
training is given to those SC Widows/Helpless women/poor girls, whose family
income is less than Rs.11000/- p.a. During training every trainer is given a
scholarship of Rs.100/-p.m. and Rs.50/- are spend on raw material such as
cloth, needle, thread, etc. Trainee's who complete the course are given one
sewing machine free of cost so that they can earn their livelihood. Every
year a target of 100 trainee's is fixed in the district.

Credit scheme |
Interest free Credit scheme for
the SC students studying post matric or post graduate classes for the
purchase of books & stationery. SC students studying post matric or post
graduate classes are given interest free loan of Rs.800/- to Rs.2000/- every
year for the purchase of books and stationery.

Post Matric scholarship
scheme |
SC students are given
assistance of atleast Rs.1900/- to Rs.2800/- for 10 months in a year for
training in business institution, their monthly fee is also paid.

Hostels for persons
working in unhygienic conditions |
A hostel is being run for 50
children of the families working in unhygienic conditions. All facilities
have been provided in this hostel.
